  • Here are some of the "out-of-the-ordinary" events I have done.

    10 Degrees & Freezing Rain
    • Once I DJ'd a corporate picnic in the sculpture garden field at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
    • I have done a number of weddings in the woods and in a farm fields, in the middle of nowhere, with no power source available.  (I provided the power from my pick-up truck.)
    • I have been the DJ for weddings in torrential downpours and in blistering heat.  One wedding ceremony on an outdoor deck and the temperature was 10 degrees with freezing rain falling.  (It was a very short ceremony!)
    • I DJ'd a ceremony on an actual ski slope.  Another was at a ski lodge at the top of the mountain.  The only way to get my equipment to the lodge was in a snow cat!
    • Once I DJ'd a dance party for a National convention in a very large hotel ballroom.  There were over 2,000 people in attendance.  I had 2-sound technicians and a light tech working with me.  What an awesome dance party!
    • I once worked a street fair with apporximately 3,500 people in attendance.
    • I did a wedding at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, in a tent larger than the size of a football field.  It was a challenging night just keeping track of the bride and groom.  I didn't work out that day or the next!
    • I did a wedding in a church Sunday school class room with only 15 people in attendance.  It was very warm and touching - one of my all-time favorites.
    • I have provided the audio equipment and mixed the sound for live musicians and vocalists at many weddings.  One had 6-musicians and 12-vocalists.  A few of the vocalists sang solos & duets.  (I used to mix live sound in a wedding band.)

  • One more thought ...

Although I have many favorite places to work as a DJ, I also love working at new and different venues.  I have done many weddings and parties at private homes and worked in all types of venues from ranch fields to the most elegant and upscale ballrooms.  I have even done wedding ceremonies in wooded areas in the middle of no-where, and on an actual ski slope (in the summertime, thankfully!).  I have never seen a venue or location where I couldn't work effectively and provide an awesome wedding day experience for my customers.
